The BALDRTHERM B0596WT2H2P-V1 is a battery-powered weather station with solar backup that allows for simultaneous measurement of temperature and humidity both inside and outside a building. The set includes a main unit and a wireless outdoor sensor with a transmission range of up to 100 m in open space. The device displays a 12-hour weather forecast, current atmospheric pressure along with a history of changes, records maximum and minimum values, and automatically backlights the screen after dark. The solar panel supplements the main unit’s power supply, helping to extend battery life; however, AA batteries (not included) are required for the device to operate.
Monitoring Indoor and Outdoor Conditions
The station allows for real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity both indoors and outdoors, enabling you to quickly assess the differences between conditions in both locations. The main unit measures temperatures ranging from -9.9°C to 50°C, while the outdoor sensor operates within a range of -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for year-round use. Temperature measurement accuracy is ±1°C, and humidity accuracy is ±3% within the 40–70% range and ±5% outside that range. Data is refreshed every 30 seconds, allowing you to regularly track changes in weather conditions.
Extensive features on a clear display
The large screen presents key information in a clear manner, making it easy to read the readings even from a distance. In addition to temperature and humidity, the device displays a 12-hour weather forecast, current atmospheric pressure, and a graph showing pressure changes over the past few hours. It also features a function to record minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values, an indoor comfort index, and information on the sensor’s signal strength. The screen also displays battery level indicators for both the main unit and the outdoor sensor.
Solar-Assisted Power and User-Friendly Operation
The main unit is equipped with a solar panel that supplements the battery power, reducing battery consumption under appropriate lighting conditions. However, it does not replace the batteries; therefore, batteries are required for the device to function properly. The base station uses 3 AA batteries, and the outdoor sensor uses 2 AA batteries, meaning the entire set requires a total of 5 AA batteries. Batteries are not included in the set, so you must purchase them separately before first use.
Stable Communication and Durable Construction
The wireless sensor communicates with the main unit at a distance of up to 100 meters in open space, allowing it to be mounted in a convenient location on your property. The sensor’s housing meets the IP54 standard, providing protection against dust and splashes, making it suitable for outdoor use.
