The EcoFlow Alternator Charger 600W is a smart car charger that allows you to use the energy generated by the alternator to quickly charge portable power stations while driving. The 600W model can recharge 1 kWh of energy in just about 1.9 hours, which is a huge advantage over traditional charging from a cigarette lighter socket, which can take up to 10 hours. The device is compatible with 12 V / 24 V systems and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; additionally, it weighs only about 1.1 kg and features a compact design. This makes it a practical solution for RVs, off-road vehicles, pickups, and recreational vehicles.
Fast charging on the go
With a power output of up to 600 W, you can efficiently charge your EcoFlow station without having to stop and search for access to the electrical grid. It takes about 1.9 hours to recover approximately 1 kWh of energy, ready to power a portable cooler, lighting, power tools, or other devices used outdoors. It’s the perfect solution for RV travelers, field workers, and anyone who wants constant access to power on the go.
Three operating modes to choose from
The charger offers not only standard power station charging but also a battery maintenance mode and a reverse charging function. Battery Maintenance mode delivers up to 100 W of power and helps maintain the correct battery voltage. Reverse Charging mode, on the other hand, allows energy to be transferred from the power station to the car battery, preventing it from discharging when you connect multiple 12V devices to it.
Advanced electrical system protection
The EcoFlow Alternator Charger 600W is equipped with five safety features: reverse polarity protection, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and overheat protection. An additional 125 A fuse protects the system from damage, and intelligent power-to-voltage matching helps safely utilize excess alternator energy without affecting its normal operation. The housing meets IP4X requirements, meaning it is dust-resistant, and the thermal materials used allow for quiet, natural heat dissipation. In addition, the charger is equipped with an ignition wire to control engine ignition (start/stop) and uses EMC-compliant Class B electronic components that do not interfere with the vehicle’s electronic systems.
Simple installation, convenient operation
The Plug & Play design makes installing the charger very simple. The cables included in the set allow for convenient installation in various types of vehicles, and the device starts automatically when the engine is turned on. Also noteworthy is the braided cable sheathing, which increases their resistance to abrasion. Additionally, the charger allows you to monitor the starter battery voltage, the charging station’s charge level, and the estimated charging time in real time. Operating parameters can be conveniently controlled via the EcoFlow app, as well as through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This ensures that the most important information is always easily accessible.
Wide compatibility with vehicles and power stations
The charger works with 12V and 24V starter batteries—it supports AGM, lead-acid, and LiFePO4 cells. It is compatible with both standard and smart alternators and can be used in a wide variety of vehicles, such as passenger cars, SUVs, pickups, and RVs. With it, you can easily charge most 24 V and 48 V portable power stations, including models from the EcoFlow RIVER and DELTA series, as well as select devices from other manufacturers.
