With an interface offering transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s and the ability to read three cards simultaneously, it significantly streamlines daily workflows. An additional standout feature is its compatibility with the Freewell Pro SSD Link module, which expands the reader’s capabilities to include data writing to an SSD and active cooling during intensive use. The sturdy Champagne Gold aluminum housing effectively dissipates heat, and its broad compatibility with computers, tablets, smartphones, and game consoles makes the device ideal for use both in the studio and on location.
Support for Professional Memory Cards and the High-Speed SD UHS-II Standard
The Freewell Pro Plus card reader is compatible with the most popular storage media used in modern cameras and camcorders. It supports CFexpress Type A, CFexpress Type B, XQD, and SD cards compliant with the UHS-I and UHS-II standards, as well as microSD cards when using the included adapter. Support for UHS-II allows you to take full advantage of the performance of modern SD cards equipped with an additional row of pins, which translates to significantly faster transfer of large files. The maximum supported storage capacity is 4 TB, allowing the device to easily handle high-resolution content and extensive photo libraries.
