The covers are made from a combination of polycarbonate (PC) and optical tempered glass, making them resistant to pressure and external factors such as moisture and corrosion. The tempered glass used, with a hardness of 9H, is up to ten times more durable than typical plastic covers. While standard plastic reaches a hardness of just 1H, Puluz covers provide maximum scratch resistance of 9H, while remaining clearer than plastic alternatives. The lens material is characterized by light transmission of up to 92%. In addition, the applied anti-reflective (AR) layer increases this parameter to more than 98%, which translates into an exceptionally clear and detailed image - without reflections and distortions.
