The camera records at a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 px at 30 fps and takes photos up to 20 MP, while its wide 154° field of view allows you to capture both the action and the surroundings in a single frame. It also features 6-axis gyroscopic stabilization, 8x digital zoom, and water resistance up to 30 m when the camera is placed in a suitable housing. The Pocket model stands out with its compact design, measuring 68 × 32 × 25.5 mm and weighing just 55 g, making it ideal for activities where freedom of movement and a light load are essential.

The SJCAM C300 Pocket offers 4K 3840 × 2160 recording at 30 fps, 2K (2560 × 1440) at 60 or 30 fps, and Full HD (1920 × 1080) at up to 120 fps, while photos can have a resolution of up to 20 MP. The f/2.0 lens provides a 154° field of view, allowing you to capture a large portion of your surroundings when recording landscapes and dynamic activities, while distortion correction and 8x digital zoom increase your freedom to frame shots. Smooth footage is ensured by 6-axis gyroscopic stabilization, which helps minimize shake during high-speed driving, descents, or handheld recording. The camera also supports slow motion: 2x in 2K at 60 fps, 4x in 1080p at 120 fps, and 8x in 720p at 120 fps, making it easier to capture a jump, a splash, or other fast-moving action in detail.

It features a special underwater white balance mode, as well as Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten, and Fluorescent settings, and exposure compensation ranging from +2 EV to -2 EV. The camera also offers time-lapse, slow motion, dashcam mode, loop recording, pre-recording and delayed recording, motion detection, portrait mode, and simultaneous photo and video capture. Loop recording can be set to 3-, 5-, or 10-minute intervals, while photo modes include standard photos, interval shots, burst mode, and time-lapse photography.

The 1.3″ touchscreen makes it easy to operate the camera and monitor the live view, and its small size helps maintain the compact dimensions of the Pocket model. Wi-Fi provides additional control options and ways to work with footage—the camera supports the 2.4 GHz band in the 802.11b/g/n standards and the 5 GHz band in the 802.11a/n/ac standards, and the app enhances the user experience. The C300 Pocket also supports live streaming on YouTube, works with the dedicated SJCAM remote control, and can function as a webcam, meaning its uses aren’t limited solely to sports and travel.
