NEEWER BASICS SL90C Studio Light
The NEEWER BASICS SL90C is a compact RGB LED video light with a maximum power of 8 W, offering three operating modes—CCT, HSI, and FX—and a wide range of options for adjusting the lighting to suit the shot. It features 45 warm-white LEDs, 45 cool-white LEDs, and 48 RGB LEDs, with a maximum illuminance of 984 lx at a distance of 0.5 m. Color temperature adjustment ranging from 2700 to 7500 K, brightness from 0 to 100%, and CRI 97+ and TLCI 98+ ratings allow you to precisely tailor the light’s characteristics to your footage.
Adjust the color temperature and brightness for every shot
CCT mode allows you to smoothly adjust the color temperature from 2,700 K to 7,500 K, enabling you to achieve both warm and cool light. Full-range brightness control from 0 to 100% is also available, making it easy to adjust the lighting intensity to on-set conditions. This wide range of settings is ideal when you need precise control over the light without having to change the lamp itself.
Full Color Spectrum in HSI Mode
HSI mode provides access to the full RGB spectrum with hue adjustment ranging from 0–360°. This allows you to match the light color to the set design, the mood of the shoot, or a specific visual effect. The ability to freely choose the color means that the SL90C can serve as both a classic fill light and a colored light source for more creative projects.
18 ready-to-use lighting effects
In FX mode, 18 dynamic stage effects are available, simulating various real-world lighting scenarios. This makes it easy to enrich your recordings with dynamic lighting without having to manually create individual sequences. This is a practical solution when shooting video, where the ability to quickly adjust the lighting to a specific scene is crucial.
Flexible Mounting on a Camera or Tripod
The included cold shoe adapter allows you to mount the light on most DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The SL90C is also equipped with 1/4" threaded holes, allowing you to use desktop tripods and other compatible mounting accessories. This design makes it easy to adjust the lamp’s position to suit your shooting style and available space.
Up to 113 Minutes of Run Time and Power Bank Function
The built-in 4000 mAh, 3.7 V lithium battery provides up to 113 minutes of run time at full brightness. The lamp can be charged via USB, with input specifications of 5 V / 2 A. The USB output also allows you to use the SL90C as a power bank to charge a smartphone or tablet, making it useful not only as a light source while you work.
Metal Construction in a Compact Design
The housing, made of an aluminum alloy and plastic, combines light weight with a durable design. The lamp measures 15 × 8 × 1.2 cm and weighs just 235 g, so it easily fits in a pocket or can be taken along with your photography gear. Its compact dimensions make it easy to use both in a stationary setup and when filming outside the studio.
