The SUNSUN CPF-2500 is a compact pressure filter designed for small ponds, decorative ponds, and fish tanks where maintaining clear and clean water is essential. The model is equipped with an 11W UV-C lamp, which helps reduce the growth of algae responsible for green water. The filter is compatible with pumps with a flow rate of up to 6,000 l/h, has a filter chamber capacity of 16 liters, and allows for the connection of hoses of various diameters. The unit is designed for fish ponds with a capacity of up to 3 m³ and decorative ponds without fish with a capacity of up to 6 m³, providing effective mechanical, biological, and UV-C filtration in a single unit.
Effective filtration for better water quality
The CPF-2500 model uses a multi-stage purification system that helps maintain proper conditions in the water body. Mechanical filtration traps suspended solids, organic debris, and other contaminants that can impair water clarity. The filter media also provide a habitat for beneficial bacteria that support natural biological purification processes. This makes it easier to maintain biological balance and create favorable conditions for fish, plants, and other aquatic organisms.
The 11W UV-C lamp helps combat algae
The built-in 11W UV-C sterilizer helps limit the growth of algae floating in the water column. Ultraviolet radiation causes the algae to clump together into larger clusters, which are then captured by the filter cartridges. This solution helps maintain better water clarity and improves the aesthetics of the entire pond. The combination of UV-C lamp operation with mechanical and biological filtration achieves a more comprehensive purification effect than when using individual methods.
Compact design and convenient operation
The filter’s pressure-driven design allows for discreet installation along the edge of the pond or partial concealment below ground level. As a result, the unit does not disrupt the garden’s appearance and can remain virtually invisible during operation. The filter is equipped with a system that facilitates cartridge cleaning and a contamination indicator that allows for a quick assessment of the condition of the filter media. The purified water can be directed to small cascades, streams, or other decorative elements located above the filter level.
