The SUNSUN CUV-755 is a 55W UV-C lamp designed for ponds and water features with a capacity of up to 65,000 liters. The device is compatible with systems with a maximum flow rate of 8,000 l/h and a pressure of up to 1 bar, helping to reduce the growth of algae responsible for cloudiness and greening of the water. Thanks to its stainless steel housing and well-designed flow path, the lamp effectively utilizes UV-C radiation to improve water quality. Universal connectors allow for easy connection to various filtration systems used in ponds.
Algae control and microbial reduction
The UV-C lamp operates in a flow-through system, exposing the water to ultraviolet radiation. This process helps limit the growth of algae floating in the water column, which are responsible for the pond’s green coloration. Under the influence of the radiation, algae clump together into larger clusters, making them easier to trap with a mechanical filter. The unit also helps reduce bacteria and other microorganisms present in the water, which improves its clarity and overall quality.
Design for Enhanced Performance
The CUV-755 model features a specially designed housing and flow system that sets the water in motion as it passes through the unit. The manufacturer does not use an internal helical coil, which makes it easier to keep the lamp clean and reduces the buildup of contaminants.
