SUNSUN HW-603B External Filter
The SUNSUN HW-603B external filter is a compact solution designed for aquariums less than 0.6 m in length or height. The unit is equipped with a 6 W pump with a flow rate of up to 400 l/h, which ensures effective water circulation and filtration. A five-stage filtration media system, a transparent housing that allows you to monitor the level of clogging in the cartridges, and a complete set of installation accessories make this filter a practical system that ensures the cleanliness and clarity of the water in your aquarium.
Five-stage filtration for clean water
The HW-603B model utilizes vertical water flow through five consecutive filtration zones. Above the cartridges is a space designated for the growth of nitrifying bacteria, which support the biological balance in the aquarium. The water then passes through a blue sponge that traps sediment, a yellow sponge that captures fine particles, a black sponge that filters out colloidal residues, and a white non-woven fabric that removes residual water discoloration. This design effectively purifies the water at various stages of filtration.
Powerful pump and stable operation
Water circulation is handled by an external JP-450G pump with a power rating of 6 W. A maximum flow rate of 400 l/h enables effective water filtration, and a head of up to 0.85 m ensures proper operation of the unit in the aquariums for which it is designed. 12 mm connectors ensure compatibility with the included accessories and efficient water flow throughout the system.
Transparent design for easy monitoring
The transparent filter housing allows you to monitor the condition of the filter cartridges on an ongoing basis without having to disassemble the unit. This makes it easier to determine when cleaning or maintenance is required. The snap-on lid provides convenient access to the interior of the filter during servicing.
Complete, ready-to-install kit
The kit includes all the basic components needed to start up the filtration system. In addition to the housing and pump, the user receives two 1.5-meter flexible hoses, shut-off valves with flow control, a set of inlet and outlet tubes, a multi-hole spray head, a flattened nozzle, and mounting suction cups. This makes filter installation quick and eliminates the need to purchase additional accessories.
